Privacy Policy
wowphp is committed to protecting the personal data of every Filipino player on our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and the rights you hold under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.
Table of Contents
wowphp treats the privacy of Filipino players with the same seriousness we apply to game security and payout reliability. This document is written to be readable — not just legally complete. If you have questions at any point, our 24/7 live chat support team can help in both Tagalog and English.
01 Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected, processed, and stored by wowphp in connection with the operation of the wowphp online gaming platform, accessible at wowphp.net. It covers all interactions a user may have with wowphp — including account registration, identity verification, deposits and withdrawals, gameplay activity, customer support communications, and marketing preferences.
This Policy applies to all registered Players, prospective Players who have initiated but not completed registration, and visitors who browse wowphp.net without registering an account. It governs data collected through the wowphp website, any associated mobile web interface, and all communication channels operated by wowphp including live chat and email.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, payment processors, or gaming content providers whose own privacy policies govern their respective data practices. Where wowphp links to or integrates with third-party services, we encourage you to review those third parties' privacy policies independently.
02 Data Controller
For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines, wowphp acts as the Personal Information Controller in respect of all personal data collected through the wowphp platform. This means wowphp determines the purposes for which your personal data is collected and the means by which it is processed.
Where wowphp engages third-party service providers — such as payment processors, identity verification providers, or game content suppliers — to process personal data on its behalf, those parties act as Personal Information Processors and are bound by data processing agreements that impose obligations consistent with this Policy and with applicable Philippine law.

wowphp applies the principle of data minimisation — we collect only the personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or political affiliations unless explicitly required by a regulatory authority for compliance purposes.
04 How We Collect Data
wowphp collects personal data through the following channels:
- Directly from you — when you complete account registration, submit KYC documents, make a deposit or withdrawal request, contact live chat or email support, or update your account profile settings.
- Automatically — when you browse or interact with the wowphp platform, through the use of cookies, server logs, and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 8.
- From third-party identity verification providers — where wowphp engages a licensed KYC or anti-money laundering (AML) screening service to verify the identity documents you have submitted.
- From payment processors — confirmation data returned by GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, or USDT blockchain networks in connection with your deposit and withdrawal transactions.
- From regulatory authorities — where required by law, wowphp may receive information about Players from PAGCOR or other Philippine regulatory bodies in connection with compliance obligations.

06 Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, wowphp processes your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity — processing required to perform the contract between you and wowphp (i.e., operating your gaming account, processing your bets, and processing your payments).
- Legal obligation — processing required to comply with applicable Philippine laws, including anti-money laundering regulations, gaming regulations, and tax reporting obligations.

- Consent — processing carried out based on your freely given, specific, and informed consent, including the sending of direct marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
07 Data Sharing and Disclosure
wowphp does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients in the circumstances described:
- Payment processors — GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, and Metrobank receive the transaction data necessary to process your deposit and withdrawal instructions. Cryptocurrency transactions are broadcast to the relevant public blockchain network and are governed by the applicable network's architecture.
- KYC and AML service providers — licensed identity verification and AML screening providers receive copies of the identity documents you submit to facilitate age verification, document authentication, and regulatory screening.
- Gaming content providers — game studios and platform providers that supply the live casino, slot, bingo, or fishing game titles available on wowphp may receive your Player ID and session data for the purpose of delivering and settling game rounds.
- Regulatory and law enforcement authorities — PAGCOR, the National Privacy Commission, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), or other competent Philippine authorities may receive data where required by law, court order, or valid regulatory directive.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, and insurers who provide professional services to wowphp may access personal data where strictly necessary for those services, subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Business successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of wowphp's assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
wowphp will never share your personal data with third-party marketing companies or data brokers for their own marketing purposes. If we ever engage a marketing service provider to send communications on wowphp's behalf, that provider acts solely as a processor under our instructions and may not use your data for any other purpose.
08 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
wowphp uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the wowphp.net website to provide essential platform functionality, analyse usage patterns, and — where you have consented — deliver relevant promotional content. The following categories of cookies are used:
- Strictly necessary cookies — essential for the operation of the platform, including maintaining your login session, remembering your language preferences, and enabling secure access to your account. These cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core platform functionality.
- Analytics cookies — used to collect aggregated, anonymised data about how visitors interact with wowphp.net, including pages visited, time on page, and navigation paths. This data is used solely to improve platform performance and user experience.
- Functional cookies — used to remember your preferences and personalise your experience on the platform, such as remembering your preferred deposit method or game category.
- Marketing cookies — used only where you have provided explicit consent, to track promotional campaign effectiveness and deliver relevant offers within the wowphp platform. wowphp does not use cross-site tracking cookies for advertising on third-party websites.
You may manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair your ability to log in or use certain platform features. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use the platform.
09 Data Retention
wowphp retains your personal data for the periods set out below, after which data is securely deleted or anonymised:

- Financial and transaction data — retained for a minimum of 5 years following each transaction, as required for AML compliance and tax reporting purposes.
- KYC documents — retained for the duration of your account plus 5 years following closure, or longer where required by a regulatory directive.
- Gaming activity data — retained for 3 years following the last gaming session, subject to any longer retention period required for dispute resolution or regulatory purposes.
- Customer support communications — retained for 2 years following the closure of each support interaction.
- Marketing consent records — retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years, to demonstrate compliance with consent requirements.
- Technical and device data (logs) — retained for 12 months from the date of collection, subject to earlier deletion where no longer necessary for fraud prevention or security purposes.
Where a legal claim is brought or threatened, wowphp may retain relevant personal data beyond the standard retention periods set out above until the claim is fully resolved.
10 Data Security
wowphp implements a layered security architecture to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our technical and organisational security measures include:
- 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and wowphp servers.

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a real risk of serious harm to you, wowphp will notify affected Players within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach — or as soon as reasonably practicable — and will notify the National Privacy Commission within the timeframes required by law. Notifications will be sent to your registered email address and displayed as a prominent alert within your account dashboard.
11 Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by wowphp. You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting wowphp live chat support or by writing to [email protected]:

Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held about you without undue delay.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to legal retention obligations.

Right to Data Portability
Receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format for transfer to another controller.

Exercising your rights is free of charge.
12 Children and Minors
The wowphp platform is strictly restricted to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. wowphp does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 21. Age verification is a mandatory step in the KYC process, and any account found to belong to a person under 21 will be immediately closed.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has registered an account on wowphp or submitted personal data to wowphp, please contact us immediately via live chat or at [email protected]. wowphp will investigate and, if confirmed, will close the account and delete all associated personal data without undue delay.
13 Cross-Border Data Transfers
wowphp's primary data processing infrastructure is located within the Asia-Pacific region. In some circumstances, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the Philippines — for example, where wowphp engages a KYC service provider or gaming content provider whose servers are located abroad.
Where such cross-border transfers occur, wowphp ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the requirements of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the regulations issued by the National Privacy Commission. These safeguards may include standard contractual clauses, adequacy findings, or binding corporate rules as applicable to the recipient jurisdiction.
wowphp will not transfer your personal data to a jurisdiction that does not offer an adequate level of data protection without first implementing appropriate contractual or technical safeguards and, where required, obtaining your consent.
14 Updates to This Privacy Policy
wowphp may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory guidance from the National Privacy Commission or PAGCOR. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the date of the most recent revision.
Where changes to this Policy are material — meaning they significantly affect your rights or the way wowphp handles your personal data — wowphp will provide at least 7 days' advance notice via the email address registered to your account and via a prominent notification displayed within the platform upon your next login.
Continued use of the wowphp platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree to the revised Policy, you may close your account by contacting wowphp support at any time.
